Approach / how a job runs

Four steps from brief to files you can publish.

Fish Media does not separate strategy, production, and “the social versions” into three companies. The same team owns the job through explore, create, capture, and connect.

  1. 01

    Explore

We read the brief against the business job: who must understand what, and where they will see it. Gaps are questions, not assumptions hidden in a treatment.

  2. 02

    Create

The idea is shaped to the formats it has to survive. A film, a still, a stream, and an installation are planned together when they share a campaign.

  3. 03

    Capture

Production is the shoot, the animation, or the live show. Crew, schedule, and technical plan are the ones in the quote.

  4. 04

    Connect

Delivery is the masters, the cutdowns, and the notes a publisher needs. The work is finished when it can be used, not when the last export renders.

A good starting point

What we need in the first note

  • The audience and the decision the work should change.
  • Where it will be published: site, retail, event, internal, or social.
  • The date it has to be public, and who approves the cut.
